Web survey software per respondent price ranges

The WebSM 2012 web survey software report data shows that only 12% out of 377 observed survey software tools also offer pricing per respondent. This suggests that this model seems to be quickly disappearing from the market.
The overview part of our 2012 report included the analysis of the prices for the per respondent model. The lowest recorded per respondent price was 0.002 Euro (0.003 USD) and the maximum per respondent price was 0.938 Euro (1.247 USD). The average price per respondent was 0.194 Euro (0.258 USD), while the median was 0.145 Euro (0.193 USD).
The average and median values are based for data for all quoted per-respondent price packages. While some survey software solutions offer a uniform per-respondent pricing, some of them offer different prices according to volume. An example of such a software is one that charges 0.40 Euro per respondent for 1.000 respondents package and 0.10 Euro per respondent for 100.000 respondents package.
