In this supplementary material we present different examples of response rate calculations and discuss the use of RR2' approximation of AAPOR Response Rate 2 in practice. While the official AAPOR RR2 should be used for all official reports and documents, our goal is to show that the RR2' approximation works well in almost all situations and is also suitable for conceptual discussions.
